Russia and Indonesia want the peace talks to end the violence in Syria without preconditions.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey V Lavrov and Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa in a telephone conversation on Friday (11/1) and then trying to find a solution to end the crisis in the Syrian Arab Republic by political and diplomatic means.

Earlier in the inauguration of the Secretary-General of ASEAN in Jakarta, Wednesday (9/1), Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa deplore the loss of life in Syria, but Indonesia to respect the country that does not want to be bothered by the household affairs of other countries.

"I think all of that is still in process. Indonesia took the attitude to Syria is divided into three elements. Namely urging cessation of hostilities, delivery of humanitarian aid and the political process," the minister said.

He said the recognition of a country's happened only once in the life of the nation. An example is Indonesia recognized the independence of South Sudan but not necessarily required to support the government be it legal or illegal
