State Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan will inaugurate the General Company of Air Navigation Services Indonesia (LPPNPI).



State Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan will inaugurate the General Company of Air Navigation Services Indonesia (LPPNPI). The company will handle air navigation in the country. "On January 16 will be unveiled at the Ministry of SOEs," Dahlan said after the leadership meeting at the office Wijaya Karya, Cawang, Jakarta, Tuesday (01/08/2013).

According to Dahlan, Housing is an amalgamation of the implementation of national air navigation by PT Angkasa Pura I and II, as well as the Technical Implementation Unit of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transport relating to the implementation of navigation services. The establishment of this institution stipulated in Government Regulation (PP) No. 77 of 2012 which was signed by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Sept. 13.

"So there will Perum Navigation under the Ministry of SOEs. So will there be effective immediately," he added.

According to Dahlan, on January 16, 2013 all assets of Air Traffic Control (ATC) at Angkasa Pura I and Angkasa Pura II will be united. But implementation will take time because it brings together aviation navigation system takes a long time.

"Even more important is the payroll. Temporarily payroll (for 2-3 months) will be given by Angkasa Pura I and Angkasa Pura II," he added.

For directors, agreed to appoint Dahlan Ichwanul Idrus, one of the Directors of the Ministry of Communications to Jump into Jump's Director of Housing. He will select seven directors to assist its work.

Just for the record, Perum Navigation will have the task of:

a. Air traffic services (Air Traffic Service / ATS);
b. Telecommunication Services flights (Aeronautical Telecommunication Services / COM);
c. Aeronautical Information Service (Aeronautical Information Services / AIS);
d. Meteorological Flight Information Service (Aeronautical Meteorological Services / MET);
e. Search and Rescue Information Services (Search and Resque / SAR).
