At least twenty women were abducted near Chibok in northern Nigeria where the militant group, Boko Haram, kidnapped more than two hundred students in April.
A villager told the BBC that the hordes of uniformed military men abducted the women.
Various reports say the women put in a van and taken away to an unknown location in the state of Borno.
The local authorities are investigating a kidnapping.
The army told the BBC they were unaware of the incident.
Nigeria's military was criticized people who say they are not protected by the security forces and the need to overcome the attacks of Boko Haram Click themselves.
Previous Boko Haram Click kidnapped two hundred girls through an attack on a school in northeastern Nigeria last April.

U.S. envoy to the UN, Samantha Power, said the entry of Boko Haram in the list is an "important step" to support efforts to "defeat the Boko Haram".
Sanctions will help "close the important pathways such as funding, travel and weapons", he added.
Attack
More recently, Boko Haram was also blamed for the deaths of 27 people Click rural northeast of the country.
Residents said gunmen killed a field worker in Chikongudo, burning almost every house there, and stealing food on the attack Wednesday (22/05) night.
The incident occurred after two bombs exploded, killing 122 people click on Jos city center. Authorities suspect Boko Haram was behind the attack.
