Need further study 'phones and sperm', do not put the phone in the pocket
The experts called for more research on the risks of cell phones on sperm concentration.
A study by the University of Exeter, UK, shows sperm count and motility are affected by cell phone or mobile phone stored in pants pockets.
The results of a study published in the journal Environment International is also mentioned that electromagnetic radiation is the cause.
But asserted that the evidence is still incomplete.
Exeter University team analyzed 10 separate studies on sperm quality and involving 1,492 men. The study includes laboratory tests of sperm exposed to radiation over the phone, and filling out the questionnaire by men in fertility clinics.
Dr Fiona Mathews, who led the research, told the BBC almost all the results of the study showed no link between cell phone exposure and poor sperm quality.
"These studies are consistent message that carries sperm motility decreased with exposure to mobile phones."
However he suggested that the men do not need to panic.
"I think most men do not need to panic, however, if you already know the potential to have a fertility problem, it may be necessary also
considering-as well as changing your food-storing cell phones to swap places, "he added. BBC
