Apparently, Iran does not have far to sell his car to foreign countries. Noted, the majority of Iranians automobile products purchased by Iraq, news Tehran Times on Monday (01/14/2013).



During the fiscal year that began in Iran March 20, 2012 and ending December 20, 2012, Iran had exported 44,682 units of passenger cars. Of that amount, 98 percent is "devoured" Iraq. The total value of Iran's exports of cars is 28 million U.S. dollars.

The data also showed that the number of total exports is rising 284 percent from fiscal year 2011. Meanwhile, figures also showed an increase of the portion of the value of 330 percent.

In addition to Iraq, approximately 2 percent of Iran's total automobile production is absorbed by Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Both countries are relatively close distance with Iran.
