U.S. President Barack Obama said his administration reviewing 'all possibilities' including military action to help Iraq overcome Islamic militants.

He added the United States are concerned to make sure no powerful jihadist groups in Iraq.

In Baghdad alone, registration centers have been opened to the public citizens who want to join to fight militants ISIS.

In another development, the military said the Kurds had control of the oil-rich city of Kirkuk after Iraqi national army left the city.

The United States has said it was ready to provide any assistance to the Iraqi government against the Iranian-ISIS while Shia-who also urged international cooperation in the face of the militants. BBC
