As many as 26,000 West Java police personnel were deployed to secure the Christmas Eve worship, Monday (24/12/2012). Police also sterilize the church before Mass begins to ensure the safety of the people who want to worship.
It was announced by the West Java Police Chief Brig Gen. Anis Tubagus Angkawidjaja look after the security preparations at the Cathedral Church of Bogor. He hoped Christmas Eve worship will run well without things happen that are not desirable.
Unique to the Bogor, he said, there are some churches that receive special attention, such as the Taman Yasmin Indonesian Christian Church in the city of Bogor and Yellow Bone Catholic Church.
