Syamsuddin Haris said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to replace ministers

Syamsuddin Haris said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to replace ministers

Political observers of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Syamsuddin Haris said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to replace ministers who perform poorly when going to revamp (reshuffle) cabinet. The President was asked not only to fill the vacant ministerial positions, the positions of Minister of Youth and Sports (Affairs) after Andi Malarangeng resign.

"If SBY really want to improve the quality of government performance, it should not only Andy, but the cabinet whose performance is not optimal, so also (reshuffle)," he said after filling seminars Gren Alia Hotel Cikini, Central Jakarta, Saturday (29 / 12/2012).

Earlier, the Presidential Working Unit for Development Monitoring and Control (UKP4) launch ministry performance evaluation results that mention a number of ministries are still performing poorly. To that end, according to Haris, please do not hesitate to uninstall SBY cabinet members who have bad performance. This was done if SBY wants to leave a good impression during the lead.

"If Mr. SBY want to leave a good name or leave the gold ink, like baseball like cabinet members performing badly, so removed it. Nah goes again weighed coalition with anybody," he said.

According to Haris there are many factors why the President had to remodel the other ministers. One consideration that is used is the ability to absorb budget that had previously been released Indonesian Forum for Budget Transparency (FITRA) and the results of the performance evaluation of UKP4 ministry said. "My friends have 6 FITRA express the absorption ministry budget is less than 20 percent," he said.
