The discussion about the sustainability of the monorail project had mangkrak for five years continued. Two consortia which will be running the project are PT Jakarta Monorail which is private and which is owned Adhi Karya.

Both consortium competing to run monorail. Jakarta Governor wishes Joko Widodo consortium is to bring together the two will become one mover monorail.

However, in reality, there are no bright spots on competition of two consortia. Unlike the PT JM are given the opportunity to carry out the study by Jokowi return until January 15, 2013, Adhi Karya actually given the opportunity to move the monorail with other routes.

Consortium Adhi Karya is indeed a new consortium comprising PT Adhi Karya, PT Telkom, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Jasa Marga, PT INKA, State Institute of Electronics and PT (LEN).

"Yes, it's not. Maybe Adhi Karya other parts. If you want to go, use another route, it is still a lot, from west to east it is still there," said Jokowi at City Hall Jakarta, Friday (12/28/2012).

The three aspects that still need to be assessed by the PT JM was related issues crossing financial, technical, and legal aspects.

"The review has not been up to so we can not decide. Earlier the law section, Bappenas, Bappeda participate, if later I created a new regulation, or a long time, they need to complete," said Jokowi.

However, Jokowi still has not decided whether only the CF JM mover monorail consortium. Because, he is still waiting for all the studies that are required to PT JM. However, Jokowi promise not to linger to decide the project.
