TNI Police continue hunt for armed civilian groups Saparua, Central Maluku district who allegedly shot six people as clashes between residents and Tuhaha Sirisori Amalatu broke, on Sunday (23/12/2012).
Police TNI even make visits to the forests and mountains is pointed out as the action and the gunmen hiding it.
Danrem 151 Binaya, Kol. Inf Asep Kusnaedi on Monday (12/24/2012), when contacted confirmed the existence of such pursuits. According to him, military officials and members of the Raider 200 Brimob until now still continue to comb the mountains the alleged gunmen's hideouts.
"This morning was the TNI and Brimob personnel had combed the mountainous area on the border of the two villages, and now the chase is still underway," said Asep.
Asep said the current military police officers still on alert at the border of the two villages to secure the conditions of the two villages.
He also explained that after the clashes, the situation in the two villages clashed gradually began to return to normal. "TNI police still guard there, if the general condition of the two villages is now normal and conducive," he said.
He urged people to refrain from both villages and give confidence to the security forces. Moreover Asep said, Christians will soon enter the Christmas day.
"I hope the residents of these two villages is not provoked by the parties - parties who are not responsible, I also urge people to be able to appreciate both the Christmas is coming," he hoped.
