Tuesday (16/12), the Australian Prime Minister Tony
Abbott with the people of Australia are mourning the loss of police conduct
raids during a dramatic morning, in an attempt to free the hostages.
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott called the acts of
hostage in a Sydney cafe as "fantasy mentally ill people."
Tuesday (16/12), the Australian Prime Minister Tony
Abbott with the people of Australia are mourning the loss of police conduct
raids during a dramatic morning, in an attempt to free the hostages. Two
hostages and the gunman was killed when the firing took place.
After laying flowers at the scene of the tragedy, Abbott
said, Monis has a long list of crimes, mental instability and extremism
ideology involved.
The suspect, identified as Man Haron Monis, aged 50
years, it is very well known Australian police, but according to Abbott, are
not in the list of terrorists. He is free on bail over the offense of murder
ex-wife in 2013.
He was also found guilty of sending threatening letters
to parents of Australian soldiers who died in Afghanistan. During the standoff
took place, Monis forcing the hostages held up a piece of the flag of Islam.
To the media, Monis expressed support for ISIS group.
Australian Muslim groups released statements condemning the hostage-taking and
raising the flag of Islam by Monis. (VOA)
