Minister Gobel Revoke Licenses 2,166 Importer
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After 24 registered importers revoked
license (IT) products of mobile phones, laptops, and digital slate (tablet),
Trade Minister Rachmat Gobel this time revoke permission 2,166 importers of
other goods. Thus, 43.17 percent of the total 5,017 registered at the Ministry
of Trade importers lose his license.
"The revocation of the import permit is due to
negligence of IT to perform its obligations to deliver a written report on the
realization of imports," said Rachmat in his office, Friday, December 11,

The details of IT which revoked the 836 importers of
electronics, apparel importers 321, 290 importers of food and beverages, 256
importers of cosmetics and health products household, 179 importers of toys,
133 importers of traditional medicines and food supplements, and 151 footwear

withdrawn.)
Rachmat said the basis of this license revocation is
Article 14 of Regulation No. 83 / M-DAG / PER / 12/2012 which amended the
Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 73 / M-DAG / PER / 10/2014 on Imports
of Certain Products.
The regulation says that the company has gained a certain
stipulation as IT products shall submit a written report on the implementation
of the import of certain products (realized / unrealized ') through
http://inatrade.kemendag.go.id every three months later than the 15th quarter
next. "We did not play in enforcing the law in the trade sector,"
said Rachmat.
