Besides Singkawang, Pontianak, West Kalimantan will host Cap Go Meh Festival. The festival will run for five days from February 22.
Head of Tourism Hilfira Hamid Pontianak City, Thursday (31/01/2013) explains, the festival will be filled with various activities. "The festival will begin with a ritual to open the eyes of the dragon. Then will be followed by entertainment stage folk and culinary festival," said Hilfira.
The festival will be centered on Jalan Diponegoro, Pontianak. Last year, the highlight of the festival is filled with lively parade dragon replica. Jalan Gajah Mada a standstill parade path.
