Chairman of Muhammadiyah Youth Leadership Center Partaonan Daulay Saleh suggested that the government and the parliament to increase the budget to eradicate drugs in the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
"According to a friend who works at BNN, the budget that they have so far not balanced with the responsibility assigned to them," said Saleh Partaonan Daulay through short messages in Jakarta, Monday (01/28/2013).
Saleh said many programs BNN postponed and canceled due to lack of funds. By increasing the budget at BNN, according to him, the fight and the war on drugs will be massive, reaching all levels of society.
Saleh also found drug eradication can not be simply addressed the government and BNN alone but must involve all elements of society. "Drugs are the common enemy of mankind. Therefore, everyone must be involved and participate," he said.
According to him, drugs can be categorized as a disaster civilization. The dangers of drugs, he said, is as dangerous as natural disasters. "Even at a certain point, the dangers of drugs can be more dangerous because of corrupting the young and the existing social order," he said.
Therefore, Saleh expressed his appreciation to BNN who have managed to catch drug users. However, he regretted that success has not been accompanied by the arrest of drug dealers and the dealers so that circulation is still plenty in the country.
"So far, it looks BNN has focused on efforts to arrest the users, while dealers and brokers-cukongnya still at large. Not surprisingly, when the drug was widely circulated in the community," he said.
Previously, BNN arrested 17 people suspected of being drug party at home artist Raffi Ahmad at Lebak Bulus. Raffi In addition, three other artists were also in the house during the raid by BNN, namely Wanda Hamidah, Irwansyah and Zaskia Sungkar.
