Coordinating Minister for the Economy Hatta Rajasa denied that there are 10 companies from South Korea to pull out of Indonesia. The business climate in Indonesia is still favorable.

"Nothing to it. I know exactly the condition of them," Hatta said when met after a coordination meeting on privatization in his office, Wednesday (01/23/2013).

Unfortunately, Hatta reluctant to explain the actual condition of the foreign company. He claimed to have been told by the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) related to this issue.

As reported, Apindo Chairman Sofjan Wanandi said the government should quickly take decisions relating to the provincial minimum wage. It needs to be done in order to avoid the possibility of layoffs and the departure of the company from Indonesia.

Currently, South Korea has 10 companies in the garment sector who leave. Sofjan rate, between the central government and the city government with no movement to solve the provincial minimum wage (UMP).

"The central government seems to turn over to the city government affairs UMP. Impression is not serious," said Sofyan.
