BPJS funds prone to corruption, This is the Corruption Commission's
recommendations
MERDEKA.COM. Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)
recommends a number of improvements in governance of social security employment
managed Social Security Agency (BPJS). This recommendation is given to minimize
the occurrence of fraud against the employment of social security funds which
amounted to Rp 150 trillion.
"As stipulated by the Act, the Commission conducted
a study on systems that have the potential for corruption. Previous many cases
related to labor and great potential in that direction. At least Rp 150
trillion managed BPJS and in 2030 is estimated to reach Rp 2,000 trillion. With
this recommendation, the potential occurs fraud can be minimized, "said
Deputy Chairman of the Commission, Adnan Pandu Praja after meeting with the MOM
Hanif Dzakiri KPK building, Tuesday (16/12).

Ministry of Labor, BPJS, and local governments to coordinate with each other.

of social services employment increased.

recommends that the Minister of Labour and the government made a legal
framework for the management of health insurance funds, social security, and
retirement security.
"Especially for government regulation of pension
funds should be careful, because in the long term and the impact on the
fiscal," said Adnan.
In addition, the Commission also recommended that the
Ministry of Labour health insurance and pay attention to the protection of
Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) who work abroad. At least, says Adnan

insurance and retirement benefits," he said.
Furthermore, Adnan recommended the government to
encourage companies to include workers as participants BPJS. Especially
