President: Indonesia will stop rice import in the next three Years

This was conveyed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in
his speech opening the National Development Plan Meeting (Musrenbangnas) in
building Bidakara, Jakarta, Thursday (12/18/2014).
"What else do not we import today?" Jokowi
asked.
According to Jokowi, sebanarnya this nation has the potential
and ability of very large for food self-sufficiency. Affirmed, strength became
an independent nation in the food sector there.
But, why it can not be achieved and this nation must
import everything? According to Jokowi, the problem is due to lack of good
public policy and appropriate.
Therefore, in the future, Jokowi targets, this three-year
Indonesian nation will achieve food self-sufficiency.
"At least in three years, the rice is done. There is
no such thing import rice!" Jokowi emphatic applause greeted the audience
of governors, regents and mayors throughout Indonesia.
"New next year sugar, corn and the next and the next
again for other food commodities," added Jokowi.
Jokowi also conveyed his excitement for the support of
the governors, regents and mayors who together want to realize these targets.
