Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa, the Indonesian government has submitted represent commitments of humanitarian aid worth one million U.S. dollars for emergency appeals to the Myanmar government.
Written statements received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here on Tuesday night, said that the Indonesian government is determined to contribute in creating a sense of trust between community agencies and develop perekonomioan in the region.
"In addition to basic needs such as housing needs, food, medicine and education, there are more important needs, are encouraged to develop a sense of trust and reconciliation between the two communities in the State of Rakhine," said Marty.
Foreign minister said during a visit to a refugee camp Rohingya and Rakhine groups in the State of Rakhine, Myanmar, on January 7 to 8 then, he has attained a deeper understanding about the developments in the State of Rakhine.
"There is a need on how to stimulate the economy in the region to create not only jobs but also the hope of a better life in the future," said Marty.
Foreign Minister Visits includes camps in various parts of Rakhine State, which is on January 7, 2013 in the four refugee camps Pauktaw, Sambalay Village, Taungbaw Village, Kyauktaw; Maw-Ya-Wadi village and refugee camp of Maungdaw. The four locations are achieved by using a helicopter Secretary.
While a visit to a refugee camp-Daw Ohn-Gyee and Min Gwan on Tuesday, Marty reached by road.
During the visit the Minister was accompanied by Foreign Minister Marty Myanmar Border Affairs, Major General Thein Htay, as well as Chief Minister of the State of Rakhine State, Hla Maung Tin.
Previous conflicts in the region caused by the conflict between the Buddhist Rakhine and Rohingya.
Ethnic Rohingya forced to withdraw from the land of their birth for immigrants expelled and considered by the Government of Bangladesh and Myanmar society in general.
Rohingya Muslim has no nationality because it is not recognized by the government of Myanmar that could not access education facilities, health and decent work.
