Indonesia and Malaysia, and Thailand soon formed a regional commodity exchange for rubber.

Currently, the three countries form a technical team to the middle of the same perception and accommodate the interests of all three countries. Estimated regional exchanges was formed in August.

It was announced by the Head of the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Syahrul R Sempunarjaya, in Jakarta, Sunday (06/01/2013). "The three countries have agreed, to save rubber prices, commodity exchanges should be established at the regional level. Presence of the regional markets are expected to create more stable prices of raw rubber," he said.

According to him, the regional exchanges that will be the rubber match of commodity exchanges has been oriented to the Japanese. Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand are the three largest rubber producing countries. "As long as it's price is determined by the market in other countries, which it does not have the rubber," he said.

Syahrul said, it is not easy to form regional exchanges. There should be a common perception that there is no suspicion of each other.
