Secretary General of the PDIP, Tjahjo Kumolo said husband and wife should go forward together as long as no candidates from PDIP through the same electoral district.

"It's okay to go forward together husband and wife. Perhaps, as his son is also a problem of origin in baseball constituencies (electoral districts) are different," said Tjahjo while attending the Christmas celebration at the Taman Ismail Marzuki PDIP Jakarta, Sunday (06/01/2013).

He was responding to measures Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), which prohibits a public official's wife was on the board, both at central and regional levels. The public officials in question are ministers, governors, regents-mayors and councilors. MCC also prohibits couples alike stand as candidates.

While Tjahjo said, as long as there is no couple from PDIP who sit as members of Parliament. It's just that, according to him, there are some couples who are members of the legislature on the second.

"So now we are going to set, after we checked, there was a husband and wife at level two, which one constituencies," he added.

Regarding other legislative requirements, PDIP, said Tjahjo, following the provisions of law. Anyone can go forward as a candidate if they meet a number of requirements, among others, are not involved in the case of drugs, do not use drugs, do not commit another crime, and moral defects.

"It all refers to the law," he said Tjahjo even called journalist should ever be advanced as long as candidates of the PDIP has resigned from the media company where she worked.
