PR Search and Rescue (SAR) South Sulawesi Hamsidar say as many as nine students who climbed Mount Bawakaraeng been found in safe condition.
"The nine students from various universities, doing the climb for the momentum of the year, but due to extreme weather finally disappears (separate) from the entourage," said Hamsidar in Makassar on Wednesday.
He said there are nine students, three students of Gadjah Mada (UGM) and a GMU alumnus, while the rest of the Hasanuddin University, Makassar and other universities in Makassar with a total of 15 students.
According to him, a team of search and rescue (SAR) with the local community find it among the nine students and postal mail five of six Mount Bawakaraeng.
"Students found in weak condition was finally taken to a nearby village Lembanna Village, Gowa regency, South Sulawesi," he said.
He said the group was originally passed climbers from Mount Lompo Battang to Mount Bawakaraeng. However, because of the extreme weather, storms and fog, eventually lost its way.
The disappearance of climbers on Mount Bawakaraeng its Tinggimoncong District, Gowa regency, South Sulawesi, is not the first time.
Similar cases are common even killed if the hostile natural conditions. Moreover, the field at the top of Mount Bawakaraeng post known to be quite difficult, so that novice climbers need to be escorted by members of the SAR or the local traditional leaders.
