Heavy rains in Saudi Arabia kills 11 people


Heavy rain on Thursday ( 21/11 ) , killing 11 people , while the search and rescue efforts continue to rescue four people were missing, said Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense Institute .

Among the dead , seven people died in the Riyadh region , two in the city of Araar , one in Al - Gunfuza and one in Al - Baha , said a statement issued by the Saudi Press Agency .

Meanwhile, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh , in one recent study , suggesting the formation of the ministry of infrastructure to deal with the impact of heavy rain .

The ministry will coordinate infrastructure projects across the oil-rich kingdom was to prevent a bridge collapse or damage to sewage systems and roads .
