Question: How and when did Elvis Presley die?

Answer: Elvis Presley died on August 16, 1977 in the bathroom of his Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. He was 42 at the time of death. He had been on the toilet, but fallen off onto the floor, where he lay in a pool of his own vomit. Panicked, his staff contacted an ambulance, which rushed him to nearby Baptist Memorial Hospital, where, after several attempts to revive him, he died at 3:30 pm CST. His autopsy was performed at 7:00 pm.

The official coroner's report lists "cardiac arrhythmia" as the cause of Presley's death, but this was later admitted to be a ruse entered into by the Presley family along with autopsy physicians Dr. Jerry T. Francisco, Dr. Eric Muirhead and Dr. Noel Florredo to cover up the real cause of death, a cocktail of ten prescribed drugs, taken in doses no doctor would prescribe:

The painkillers Morphine and Demerol.
Chloropheniramine, an antihistamine.
The tranquilizers Placidyl and Valium.
Finally, four drugs were found in "significant" quantities: Codeine, an opiate, Ethinamate, largely prescribed at the time as a "sleeping pill," Quaaludes, and a barbituate, or depressant, that has never been identified.

It has also been rumored that Diazepam, Amytal, Nembutal, Carbrital, Sinutab, Elavil, Avental, and Valmid were found in his system at death.

The phrase "cardiac arrhythmia," in the context of the coroner's report, means little more than a stopped heart; the report initially tried to attribute the arrhythmia to cardiovascular disease, but Elvis' own personal physician has stated that Presley had no such chronic problems at the time. Most of Elvis' many health problems can and have been traced back to rampant abuse of prescription drugs.

Elvis had visited his dentist on August 15th to have a temporary crown put in; it has also been suggested that the codeine the dentist gave him that day resulted in an anaphylactic shock that assisted in his death. (He had suffered allergic reactions to the drug previously.)

 Michael Jackson

The death of Michael Jackson has shocked the World. There are many rumors flying around of drug overdose and abuse of prescription pain killers, but everyone seems to have forgotten that Michael was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Alpha 1-Anti trypsin Deficiency.

Also  the King of Pop had also been diagnosed in the past with Lupus and vitiligo. Could any of these diseases contributed to his death? The truth will not be known until the results of the autopsy are complete; but let’s examine these three diseases to see what is revealed.

Vitiligo

Vitiligo is a skin disorder in which melanin is no longer produced by sin cells. This leaves the victim with skin patches that are a starkly white contrast to the other areas of surrounding skin. About 20 percent of persons with vitiligo get an autoimmune thyroid disease. However, vitiligo has been linked to psoriasis, lupus, anemia, immune related diabetes and others. Persons who have vitiligo will never regain their skin color, but may utilize prescription creams to even out the skin tone or may cover the areas with makeup.

Lupus

Lupus is an autoimmune disease. Autoimmune diseases cause the body to start attacking its own tissues. Persons with Lupus, up to 70%, will live for 20 years or more after their diagnosis. The symptoms of Lupus may be barely noticeable and may come and go. Persons with Lupus are subject to joint pain, extreme fatigue, and decreased ability for physical activity. Lupus can attack the vital organs of the lungs, heart, and kidneys. So if Michael had Lupus and it was not in remission, that certainly could have contributed to his death.

Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency- (For the sake of brevity here we will just call it alpha-1.)

Alpha-1 is in inherited disease that can cause lung damage and liver disease in adults. In December it was reported that Michael had this disorder and needed a lung transplant due to emphysema, however Michael denied the truth of these reports. The signs of alpha-1 usually begin between the 2nd and 5th decades of life. Early symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, and decreased ability to exercise. Other symptoms include rapid heartbeat, weight loss, decreased ability to fight off respiratory infection, and problems with vision. If these reports were indeed true, then alpha-1 could have caused Michael’s demise.

Could Michael's Death Be a Combination of Causes?

If rumors circulating about Michael’s difficulties with prescription pain killers are true and Michael did have one of the conditions mentioned, this combination in itself could have been deadly. Narcotics have a tendency for suppressing breathing. In a person with compromised lung function, narcotics have to be used very cautiously or death may result.   Michael reported had a very extensive physical which he passed in preparation for his upcoming concert series.

Michael’s initial cause of death is listed as cardiac arrest. But, there can be many causes for cardiac arrest and respiratory disease can be one of those causes. Did Michael have a disease that caused his death, or was it just a case of another great icon falling prey to the Achilles'  heel of drugs? Perhaps it was indeed a combination of all the above factors. For now all the public can do is wait and speculate.
