Republican and Democratic leaders of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee of the U.S. has approved a draft resolution authorizing U.S. military action in Syria . The draft is scheduled to be decided in a vote by the committee on Wednesday . If approved by the committee , it will be sent to the full Senate for a vote and then held again after the Senate returned from their recess on September 9 .
