Liverpool draw Arsenal 2-2 draw at Anfield
Martin Skrtel saved Liverpool from defeat at home to
Arsenal in the Premier League at Anfield.
Down to ten players at the end of the second half,
Liverpool picking a point when the draw against Arsenal 2-2 at home in the
Premier League at Anfield Stadium, Sunday (21/12).
Liverpool winning first goal by Philippe Coutinho in the
45th minute.
This goal does not last long because Arsenal immediately
reply by Mathieu Debuchy.
In the second half, Arsenal winning turn as the French
striker Olivier Giroud nets shaking the home team's goal in the 64th minute.
Behind 1-2 Liverpool raise the tempo of the game and
despite losing Fabio Borini who was sent off after receiving two yellow cards,
Steven Gerrard and his friends continued to press Arsenal.
This effort resulted in the goals scored by Martin Skrtel
in the last minute of the second half.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said the game was very
exciting and a score of 2-2 was described as a fair result for both teams.
With this result, Arsenal won 27 points from 17 matches
and are in position six of the standings, while Liverpool recorded 22 points
