Israel intends to buy a ` Air Force One '

 One week after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly chose not to attend the memorial service of the late Nelson Mandela for reasons of travel expenses , Israeli ministers decided to consider the purchase of a special plane heads of government or state equivalent of " Air Force One " of the U.S. .

They agreed to establish a committee that will consider the purchase of an aircraft for the prime minister and president " because this is a must-have in many countries , " the government statement said , as quoted by AFP .
