Ukrainian authorities said pro-Russian rebels shot down two warplanes Ukraine in the east, about 35 miles from the crash site MH17.

Ukrainian government spokesman Aleksey Dmitroshkovsky told the BBC that two military aircraft shot down in Saur-Mogila, Shakhtarsk, in the Donetsk Oblast, on Wednesday (23/07).

The area was close to the Russian border.
Mentioned shooting location is located approximately 35 miles from the crash Click the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam, last Thursday (17/07).

It is not known the fate of the pilot and also there is no information about who was responsible.

Previously reported to carry a pro-Russian rebel had left their positions outside Donetsk and retreated to the city center.

Igor Strelkov, a former Russian military officer who led the armed groups there, said the withdrawal of troops run orderly and safe.

He added that his forces are ready to maintain its position in the center of town.
But the government says the rebels apparently getting ready to leave the region.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseny Yatsenyuk said Kiev would impose sanctions on a number of Russian individuals or companies that support what he called a terrorist, either directly or indirectly.BBC
