Rupiah Weakens So Rp12.266 per U.S. dollar
The rupiah traded among banks in Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon fell 67 points to Rp12.266 per U.S. dollar .
" The lack of positive domestic sentiment pushed the rupiah against the U.S. dollar . During this time , the focus of the money market is to the performance of Indonesia's trade balance and current account balance , " said Bank Money Market Analyst Civil Society , Ruly Nova .
He added that demand for U.S. dollars in the country is still quite high due to increased need for corporations to pay foreign debt maturities .

According to him , the improvement in the U.S. economy in the third quarter of this year and the projections of the International Monetary Fund ( IMF ) to U.S. growth also sparked investor confidence in the U.S. dollar .
Moreover , he continued , trimming financial stimulus the U.S. central bank ( the Federal Reserve ) of 10 billion U.S. dollars to 75 billion U.S. dollars to make U.S. currency liquidity getting tighter .
