WHEN ITS IMPLEMENTATION?
Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baz, in the Majmu 'Fataawa wal Maqalat Mutanawwi'ah (15 \ 391) states, fasting six days in Shawwal has the foundation of the Prophet. Also narrated by Ibn Hibban in his Saheeh with the wording:

من صام رمضان وستا من شوال فقد صام السنة

"Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan and six days in Shawwal, the mean fasting one year been carrying out".

وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال من صام رمضان وأتبعه بست من شوال فكأنما صام الدهر رواه البزار وأحد طرقه عنده صحيح

"Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan, Shawwal, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, then he will go to heaven".

Narrated by Imam Ahmad, 3/416, from Khabbab of Ikrimah bin Hilal bin Khalid, he said: I was told by one of the clever people of Quraysh, I was told by my father that he heard from the lips around the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and his ... bring the above hadith.

Shaykh al-Albani said:
This is a weak sanad, because the clever people of Quraish did not know his true identity. And Hilal, his shaduq (honest and trustworthy), but he turned in his old age, as described in the book at Taqriib.

And this hadeeth narrated by al Haitsami in Al Majma ', 3/190 without the phrase "wal Friday," then he rahimahullah said: Narrated by Imam Ahmad, and in the isnaad are men who are not mentioned, while the other narrators are tsiqah (trustworthiness, Red).

Maudhu Hadith '(FALSE)

من صام رمضان وأتبعه ستا من شوال خرج من ذنوبه كيوم ولدته أمه

Shaykh al-Albani said:
Maudhu '(false). Narrated by Imam ath Thabrani in the book of al Ausath through Imran bin Harun, we were told by Maslamah bin Ali, we were told by Abu Abdillah al Hamsh from Nafi 'from Ibn' Umar marfu ', and he rahimahullah (Ath Thabrani) said: Hadith This is not narrated, except by Abu Abdillah, and Maslamah alone in bringing this history.
