LONDON (Antara News ) - Al - Qaeda leader Ayman al - Zawahri , in a jihad manual issued for the first time , calling on his followers not to attack Muslims of different flow and did not start the conflict in the countries in which the organization has the potential to get a lot of new members .
While the primary goal of Al - Qaeda's military movements are still the same which weaken the United States and Israel , Zawahri emphasizes the importance of " da ` wah " , or missionary work to spread the ideas of the organization .
" Strategy weaken the United States and its allies should be adjusted in different places . Primary principle is to avoid conflict with them , except in countries where confrontation is unavoidable , " Zawahri said in the guidance documents published by the SITE jihad .
Analysts said that the Zawahri statements are specifically relevant to the conditions in the countries of North Africa .
In the region , al - Qaeda took advantage of the climate of democracy ( which does not restrict them to spread ideas and recruit new followers ) since the Arab awakening of 2011.
On the other hand , a suicide bombing targeting Shiite Muslim groups in several countries such as Iraq and Pakistan make Al - Qaeda is less popular in the eyes of many Muslims .
Salafiah Zawahri urged followers to refrain from attacking other Muslim groups . He said that if al - Qaeda attack , then they should limit backlash only on those involved .
Al - Qaeda by Zawahri also should allow Christians , Hindus and Sikhs to live in Muslim areas , they also have to respect women and children and are not attacking the enemy in mosques , markets and crowd where innocent Muslims who can be a victim .
" Our struggle is long and our jihad requires a secure base , " Zawahri said .
Zawahri said that Afghanistan , Iraq , Syria , Yemen and Somalia are the only countries where conflict is inevitable .
While in Pakistan , Zawahri said that jihad in the country must be " intended to provide a secure base for the mujahideen so that it can be used to start the struggle to enforce Islamic system .. "
Al - Qaeda itself is believed to have a strong network in Pakistan - founder Osama bin Laden lived in the country until his death in 2011 . The group is also in close contact with Pakistani Taliban
