10 killed , 20 injured in attacks in Iraq

At least 10 people were killed and 20 others were wounded in the attack during the funeral in Iraq on Tuesday ( 10/12 ) , police said .

The attack occurred when a roadside bomb exploded in a funeral procession on the outskirts of the southern Baquba , about 65 miles to the northeast of Baghdad , said a police source told Xinhua .

Five of the injured were seriously wounded , the source added .

So far , no group has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack but Al-Qaeda front in Iraq , in most cases , is responsible for suicide bombings in the country .

The attack occurred on Tuesday amid rising sectarian tensions between the two communities - which has reached its highest point since the U.S. troops out of the country at the end of 2011 .

Iraq faced unrest terparahnya eruptions in recent years . According to the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq , 8,109 Iraqis were killed in the country from January to November this year .
