Baghdad's liquor stores were attacked, nine dead
Gunmen attacked 12 liquor stores in Baghdad, Iraq on Saturday that resulted in nine deaths.
The attackers approached the store with four wheel drive vehicles and shoot down the people in the shops and supermarkets.
Police said most of the victims were members of the minority Yazidi Kurds of Iraq who are employees.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Shiite Muslim militia had earlier warned against the things that are contrary to Islamic law.
In the era of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, though officially sold alcohol bars and nightclubs are prohibited near the end of his reign.
Shops with a license that is still valid until now can sell alcohol.
