Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said the special security unit was established in Chechnya if necessary to deal with both the Syrian radicals in the North Caucasus region as well as abroad .

Kadyrov said the move was in response to a number of online video in which the radicals are fighting Syrian government forces threaten to move to the North Caucasus Syria if the war ended . They also threatened to engage in terrorist and subversive activities in the restive region .

He said both the government and Chechens increasingly worried about the threat and considers them a serious challenge to security in the Russian republic .

" We're not going to listen to these threats and outbreaks watch this violates the Russian border , " the Chechen leader said . " That's why law enforcement agencies of the republic and the government take preventive measures . "

The members of the special unit will be ready to intervene in the Syrian conflict , if the operation is authorized by Russian President Vladimir Putin , Kadyrov said as quoted by RIA Novosti .
