Financial Services Authority ( FSA ) will oversee the management of financial assets amounted to Rp11.000 trillion by the merger of banking supervision in 2014 .
" Overall the FSA will oversee the management of financial assets at Rp11.000 trillion , " said Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners FSA Waluyanto in Risk and Governance Summit 2013 in Jakarta on Wednesday .
He mentioned the 2014 merger of banking supervision will add to the management of financial assets should be supervised around Rp5.500 trillion or 67 percent of GDP .
According to him, the FSA is the regulatory and supervisory agency of financial institutions as a whole and consequently had to oversee the management of financial assets is very large .
" As an illustration , in the current capital market capitalization of shares on the Stock Exchange reached Rp4.130 trillion , or about 50 percent of GDP , " said Rahmat .
While the capitalization bonds have reached Rp1.137 trillion or 13 percent of GDP .
" While in the non-bank financial industry in the first half of 2013, assets of insurance companies reached Rp610 billion , Rp334 trillion finance company's assets and the assets of Rp163 trillion pension fund companies , " said Waluyanto .
