North Korea said the uncle leader Kim Jong- Un has been dismissed from office for committing " criminal acts " and led the " counter - revolutionary faction " , the KCNA state news agency said Monday.
Jang Song - Thaek , who penah as guardian when the younger Kim , stripped of all posts and positions for allegedly building the strength to challenge the leadership of the country , the North's state media said .
South Korean spy said that Jang appears to have been " cleaned up " and two colleagues were executed .
North Korean state media asserted that they had " rid Jang group and clean up " after a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee .
" Jang Song - Thaek group ... committed anti - party , is the act of counter - revolutionary faction that undermined the unity and cohesion of the party , " he said .
" Jang pretended to enforce and lead the party , but fun acting as a faction with different dreams and involve themselves in the movement duplicity behind the scenes . "
