Malaysia hit by floods , 19 thousand people were evacuated

Flooding in three states of Malaysia is getting worse due to heavy rain which flushed continuously since five days ago and so far 19 thousand residents were evacuated to the centers .

In Pahang , flooding causes more than 9 thousand people displaced and more than 100 vehicles were flooded.

Kuantan city crippled by flood heights of more than one meter , while the flow of electricity in the city was forced to cut to avoid unwanted things , according to local media in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday .

In Johor , the flood is also getting worse . In addition to Mersing area , Segamat , Kota Tinggi , and Kluang , flooding spread to other areas in Muar and Batu Pahat with a number of 5,552 displaced people.

In Segamat , a bridge that crosses the river upstream in Kampung Segamat Sekijang reportedly collapsed , while in Terengganu , the number of refugees increased to 2,255 souls .

Malaysian Meteorological Agency estimates , the floods on the east coast will spread into northern Terengganu and Kelantan following the rain is expected to move into the area north east coast .
