Thai Prime Minister proposed a referendum


 Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has proposed a referendum on its future on Sunday , and promised to step down if the people want it , as protesters prepared with pressure to try to force the last drops of power .

The protesters have been in the streets of the capital for weeks , clashing with police and vowed to topple Yingluck and eradicate the influence of self-exiled brother , former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra , according to a Reuters report .

Demonstrations was the last eruption in nearly a decade competition between powers who set up headquarters in Bangkok with those who support Thaksin , a former communications conglomerate that won great support in the countryside with a pro-poor policies .

The pro Democratic Party in the parliament said that all cadres will surrender their seats because they do not want to want to work with the ruling party leader Yingluck .

The leader of the protesters , Suthep Thaugsuban , a former prime minister of the Democratic Party , has called for a demonstration last Monday to force Yingluck down .

Yingluck said in a statement broadcast on state TV that it was looking for a way to end the conflict .
