Thailand 's opposition attacked , two killed

Two people were killed in attacks on anti- government protesters in the Thai capital , Bangkok , on Thursday ( 15 / 05 ) .

Twenty- two people were injured in the shooting and explosions in the city 's Democracy Monument .

The demonstrators stayed around Government House to pressure the Thai Senate to replace the interim government and appoint a new prime minister

At least 27 people died in political unrest that convolute the country since November last year .

Last week , the Constitutional Court ordered Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to resign because of abuse of power .

Nine cabinet ministers were also replaced . Yingluck 's opposition says the decline is not enough because it only replaced by the task of implementing the ruling party , Niwattumrong Boonsongpaisan .

Thailand's political crisis began in 2006 when Yingluck 's brother , former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra , dropped by a military coup for alleged corruption , abuse of power and disrespect for King Bhumibol Adulyadej .
