Russia Foreign Minister Urges end to Ukraine Soon attacks on Separatists, support efforts of peace negotiations
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia supports the efforts of the negotiations to end the crisis in a peaceful way, Ukraine Tuesday (27/5).
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called for immediate end to Ukraine's military operation against the pro-separatist Russia in Eastern Ukraine.
Lavrov said Tuesday (27/5) that Russia supports the efforts of the negotiations to end the crisis peacefully.
Fighting continued in the city of Donetsk, in Eastern Ukraine, where the separatists to attack the city's airport Monday (26/5). Minister of Internal Affairs Ukraine Arsenic Avakov says government forces regained full control over the airport.
One of the rebels said Tuesday (27/5) that 30 of their fighters were killed, while the Mayor of Donetsk said the victims were killed 40 people, including two civilians.
