Indonesia - Japan discuss program priorities Greater Jakarta metropolitan area .

Indonesian and Japanese delegates meeting in Tokyo to discuss the strategic plan Program Jabodetabek Metropolitan Priority Area ( MPA ) in particular urged the development of five projects of 20 major projects that have been identified at the previous meeting , as well as high -level consulting to investment promotion .

Coinciding with the commemoration of 55 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Japan , Economic Minister at the meeting said that the MPA program is part of efforts to achieve the goals and objectives MP3EI to realize connectivity and sustainable economic growth .

According to Coordinating Minister Hatta Rajasa , the development of adequate infrastructure connectivity is expected to facilitate the movement of goods , services and labor and increase the investment attractiveness of both Japan and the ASEAN countries .

" Investment of Japan in Indonesia is expected to increase, and Indonesia ready to become hub for investment and trade with Japan in the ASEAN region , " said Minister for Economic Affairs .
