Indonesian High Rates Apply for Import of Agricultural Products

Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan asserted , Bali package resulting from the WTO in Bali is very thick with the spirit of developing countries that provide protection to farmers .

'' Bali Package provides protection against agricultural products , and the Indonesian government will impose high tariffs to imports relating to agricultural products .

Developing countries should be able to do subsidisasi for agricultural products .

" In the future, these facilities should be utilized to protect the farmers , it already exists on the horizon and we should be able to increase productivity and production in the country , so that we not only became self-sufficient but also as an exporter , " said Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan after opening Katumbi Expo 2013 The JCC Jakarta, Wednesday ( 11/12 ) .
