It was the seventh attack targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon since mid-2013 , when the group sent people to Syria to fight alongside the army of President Bashar al - Assad faced Sunni insurgent groups .
" At least four people were killed and more than 15 others were injured , two or three of them in critical condition , " Interior Minister Marwan Charbel told Hezbollah's Al - Manar television station .
The explosion , which occurred at around 16:00 GMT after dusk it , triggering a huge fire that inhibits the arrival of emergency services .

The security forces then sealed off the area and firefighters managed to extinguish the fire .
