Thai Prime propose ratification of all parties
While Thailand's Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Saturday said elections would go ahead as planned on February 2 and propose all political parties to ratify the agreement to form the Reform Council as soon as a new government is formed .
Yingluck , in a nationally televised address , saying that the need to hold elections for the parliament is the main mechanism for genuine national reform .
He said that the national reform is important and the interim government is ready to work together to push for reform .
He has proposed that after the election , the House of Representatives and the new government encourages state reform on the national agenda .
All political parties and stakeholders must ratify an agreement that when a new government is formed , the Council reform should be formed and will work period of more than two years .
The Council shall consist of all the sectors that have a legal basis or have a role in society , he said , and added that the Board will propose a long-term roadmap for national reform AFP .
