The average price of OPEC oil continues to strengthen
The average price of oil weekly Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) reached 107.17 U.S. dollars per barrel last week, compared with 106.85 dollars the previous week, the Vienna-based cartel said Monday.
Although last week saw a slight decline in the price of a weekly basket of OPEC, fall from 107.99 dollars to 106.85 dollars, the trend of rising prices has not seemed to change since November.
OPEC crude oil production target organizations at 30 million barrels a day, the price is relatively convenient for the production of crude oil after a meeting at the organization's Vienna headquarters early December, according to Xinhua.
