Bomb kills three soldiers in Pakistan

A bomb blast on Friday killed at least three paramilitary soldiers and wounding four others in the southwestern province of Baluchistan, Pakistan.

Roadside bomb struck a patrol vehicle in the area Jahoo, remote districts Awaran, separatist rebel stronghold ravaged large earthquake in September last year.

Baluchistan, which borders Iran and Afghanistan, filled with separatists and Islamic militants and sectarian bloodshed.

"At least three soldiers were killed and four others injured, two of them in serious condition when a bomb exploded planted by criminals on the street," said Frontier Corps spokesman Abdul Wasay told AFP.

Pakistani officials accuse Baluch rebels, who have waged a bloody separatist struggle low level for a decade, as "criminals".

No parties immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
