Israeli Forces Destroy Building Palestinian Settlements
Israeli forces on Monday ( 27/1 ) destroyed three residential buildings in the settlement of Palestine , Beit Hanina and Issawiya , in East Jerusalem , said some residents and local officials told Xinhua .
Israeli troops blocked the main road in Issawiya and used bulldozers to demolish the three-story building under construction , said Ir Amim , a human rights watchdog organization in Jerusalem .
They also destroyed two buildings in Beit Hanina again , including one building with two dwelling units into 14 people , and a trailer housing to accommodate seven people .
A spokesman for the City of Jerusalem, told Xinhua that the building was made without permission .
He said , " Local Affairs Court issued a demolition order because the people there do not apply to the Court or to approach the State Government to address the problem. "
Hani Issawi , a member of the Local Committee Issawiya , told Xinhua that building certainly made without permission because the city government will not allow the expansion or development of Palestinian settlements .
" As many as half of the buildings in Issawiya made without permission , because people can not obtain the permit , " said Issawi .
Final development plan approved in Issawiya ended in 1990 , since then nobody ever approved development plan for the settlement despite markedly increased occupant . | Ant / MJF
