According ESDM 25/2013 , the companies in the transport sector , industrial , commercial , and power plants are required to wear a minimum of 10 percent of FAME in diesel mixture starting September 2013 .
Dadan added , the use of biodiesel in September 2013 resulting in saving foreign exchange amounting to 75.88 million and 2.84 million dollar subsidy savings .
While the use of biodiesel in October 2013 providing foreign exchange savings amounting to 85.83 million dollars .
" Total foreign exchange savings period September to October 2013 amounted to 161.71 million dollars , " he said .
He also explained , PT PLN ( Persero ) has used FAME in October 2013 amounted to 4,814 kiloliters of oil and pure ( pure plant oil / PPO ) at 228 kiloliters .
In September , he added , the use of FAME reached PLN 2,088 liters , equivalent to 0.39 percent of the consumption of diesel oil ( high speed diesel / HSD ) the same period to reach 535,000 kiloliters .
" For the mineral and coal in general is ready to implement the mandatory implementation of biodiesel throughout the supply available , " he said .
