 The rupiah exchange rate in the interbank transactions in Jakarta on Monday morning opening moved up six points to Rp12.200 per U.S. dollar .

But at 9:45 pm , the exchange rate reversed into negative territory , falling by 14 points to Rp12.220 per U.S. dollar .
