Experts say the mudflow in Sidoarjo in Indonesia will expire at the end of this decade , sooner than previously thought .

This study is based on satellite data records that indicate soil conditions changed in response to the material surface.

The researchers say the mudflow lose pressure quickly .

The eruption that began in the region of East Java Porong in 2006 is the largest of similar events .

He and his colleagues used a technique known as interferometric synthetic aperture radar ( InSAR ) to access the evolution of Sidoarjo mud eruption .

This research was carried out by combining a number of images of the volcano satellite images from space taken by the Japanese ALOS satellite , to ensure changes in the surface around the volcano .

For several years , the land surface drops ten inches of material due to encouragement from the earth to the surface of the ground . However , the overflow continues to show a decline .
