Three U.S. drone fired in South Sudan


Three U.S. aircraft greeted unknown forces attack Saturday while trying to evacuate American citizens in countries that were hit by the conflict spiral , South Sudan .

The U.S. military , as reported by Reuters , said that four of its members were wounded in the attack .

Nearly a week fighting in South Sudan threaten the country dragged into civil war ethnic Dinka - Nuer , only two years after winning independence from Sudan with strong support from the U.S. government .

U.S. aircraft came under attack as it approached the refugee camps , military Africa Command said in a statement .

" The aircraft diverted to an airfield missions abroad and canceled , " he added .

The statement said , all three CV - 22 Osprey aircraft involved in the mission broken .

U.S. President Barack Obama warned that any move to take power by military means will lead to the end of the U.S. and international community support for South Sudan .

UN Mission in South Sudan said one of the four helicopters were sent to Youai in Jonglei state , has welcomed the attack of small arms on Friday . No crew or passengers were harmed .

Hundreds of people have been killed in fighting between loyalists of President Salva Kiir's Dinka and Nuer supporters of ex- president Riek Machar , who was fired in July and the government was accused of trying to seize power .

The battle has spread from the capital , Juba , to the vital oil fields and the government said a senior military commander has defected to Mochar in Unity State oil production .

The German military said on Saturday it had evacuated 98 people , including citizens of Germany and other countries , from South Sudan by air to neighboring countries , Uganda .

German ambassador to South Sudan were among them , the Foreign Ministry in Berlin said .

A separate flight to pick up Lt. Gen. Hans - Werner Fritz , the head of the German Operations Command , along with aides and five other Germans , who subsequently brought to Berlin .
